Description: ISLAND DEL SOL is one of the most outstanding condominium mid-rise complexes in South Padre Island, TX. Known as the “Texas Riviera†by many, the Beach is 30 yards in front of the condominium complex. Built in 1972 the Isla Del Sol 44 unit Condominium complex was experiencing a deteriorating sanitary sewer system.
THE PROBLEM
Built in 1972 the Isla Del Sol 44 unit Condominium complex was experiencing a deteriorating sanitary sewer system; everything from leaks, line back-ups and unpleasant sewer odors.
THE SOLUTION
The owners contracted with an engineering firm to help them resolve the problem. The engineering firm contacted TDT Plumbing to get their professional assessment on how to resolve the problem. TDT Plumbing was able to assess the problem design a maintenance strategy and implemented a plan that involved the following services:
- Leak Detection & Isolation
- Video Inspection
- Nonpathogenic bacteria / enzyme treatment
- Hydro-jet cleaning
- Point repairs to resolve immediate pipe failure
- Cured —In-Place Pipe lining for the remainder of the sanitary sewer system.
