Noticing a slowly-growing, waterlogged area on your home or business’s front yard is, unfortunately, much more than an eyesore.
It could be the result of a pipeline break in the lateral pipe that runs beneath your yard, from the city main to your house. More often than not, it’s the the sewer lateral (the drain pipe that runs from your home or business’s building to the city’s sewer main) that has cracked and is leaking.

Another common problem is a main sewer line clog in the lateral, which will cause slow drains or drain backups.

The above-mentioned problems are serious and must be taken care of quickly. However, we have good news: you do not always need the sewer pipe dug out and replaced, thus destroying your yard. TDT Plumbing proudly offers trenchless sewer line repair services, which are a beneficial alternative to traditional sewer line replacement due to an in-place method.

If your home, property or business is experiencing a main sewer line clog, a leaking sewer line or needs sewer line cleaning or sewer line repair, we’d love to help you. Below is a list of our trenchless sewer repair, leak detection and drain failure preventative services.

Preventative Service

Hydro-jet cleaning and debris removal – We utilize this type of sewer line cleaning technology to remove obstructions in drain lines without having to dig out the pipe. This process occurs by flushing the pipeline with a stream of high-pressured water, which will push out tree roots, grease, paper, scale, hair, sand silt and other debris. Sewer line cleaning via hydro-jetting should be a routine part of your home or building’s preventative maintenance routine to prevent future drain emergencies.

Investigative Services

Drain camera inspections – We have a wide array of pipe testing technologies for both pressurized and non-pressurized pipe systems, but we would most likely use a drain camera to inspect the interior of failing drain lines to discover the cause of the failure. This drain camera inspection could reveal a large clog, breaches in the pipe or something else entirely.

Other inspection services – Our highly-skilled technicians may also use other forms of investigative technologies, such as a pneumatic test ball (pressure testing a pipeline), exfiltration tests (low pressure air test or water test) or pipe deflection tests (a test to determine the ovality of the pipeline is correct).

Trenchless Sewer Repair Service

Cured-In-Place-Pipe – Also known as CIPP, this modern technology is much more beneficial than traditional pipe replacement (repipe) methods. CIPP is performed by inserting an epoxy-saturated liner into the existing host pipe, then letting the epoxy cure to create a new, strong, seamless pipe within the old pipe. This new pipe will be extremely durable and will prevent breaches, cracks, blockages and other common problems. CIPP benefits, compared to traditional repipes, include: much faster project turnaround, little-to-no destruction, fewer costs, eco-friendly and a greatly extended lifespan of the pipe.
