Picote Pipe Coating

In the old days, fixing drainage and sewer pipes meant ripping out the old pipe and putting in a new one. But at TDT Plumbing, we’re changing the game with our innovative Cypress pipe coating service. It’s quicker, cleaner, and lasts longer, providing a better solution for pipes that are failing.

Wondering if Pipe Coating is Right for You?

At TDT Plumbing, we offer various options for fixing pipes. You can trust us to pick the right solution tailored to your needs. When it comes to getting the best performance from your pipes, we’re the experts.

Benefits of Pipe

Coating Our coating creates a new layer inside the pipe that’s resistant to moisture, corrosion, and wear. It’s durable and won’t corrode over time. Plus, we can apply multiple layers to make it thicker, depending on the size of your drain line. With TDT Plumbing’s pipe coating, you can expect your pipes to last 30 to 50 years. And because it reduces friction, water flows better, reducing the risk of clogs.

Choose Your Pipe

Our coating sticks to all kinds of pipes, whether they’re made of clay, concrete, cast iron, or PVC. Another advantage is that it works for both horizontal and vertical pipelines, unlike many other coating systems.

So, if you’re dealing with pipe problems, consider TDT Plumbing’s pipe coating service for a durable, long-lasting solution.

The Picote Pipe Coating process

starts with cleaning and removing any grease from the drain line so that the resin can stick properly to the pipe. Then, we prepare the application hoses and pump, considering the size and type of pipes. For best results, the lines shouldn’t exceed 50 feet to reach the farthest application point. We mix the resin and add it to the pump, then apply it using rotating brushes inside the pipe. After applying the coating and allowing it to cure, we inspect the pipe with a video to ensure complete coverage and decide if additional layers are needed.

Once TDT Plumbing finishes the pipe coating process, the pipes can be put back into service after about 24 hours.

Our Ways of Applying Picote Pipe Coating:

Brush-On (Picote)

What is Picote Coating?

Picote Coating is made for drains and sewer lines ranging from 1 1/4 inches to 6 inches. It uses a new resin coating system made of a specially formulated two-part vegetable-based oil-based resin. This resin is applied to the inside walls of damaged pipes using a special brush and Picote Coating Pump. Once it hardens, the new coating can handle temperatures from 40 degrees below zero to 248 degrees Fahrenheit.

TDT Spin Cast

What is TDT Spin Cast?

The spin cast method is ideal for pipes with many bends and turns. It involves using an epoxy-resin mixture pumped into the pipe. Inside, our machine spins and spreads the mixture onto the inner walls of the pipe.
