THE PROBLEM:
Club Side South Condominiums is a 90-unit complex built in the mid-1990’s in Sarasota, Florida. The condominium complex was less than 10 years old yet the copper plumbing system was experiencing extensive pinhole leaks throughout the building’s plumbing system. The system’s risers were located inside the cinder block of the wall, further complicating the project. Repairs to leaks and cosmetic damage had become routine. The repetitive occurrence of leaks were (and are) a sign of a failing copper system in advanced stage that posed a threat to residents’ property and building integrity. The residents required a long-term solution to this problem. As a result of the failing system, the Community Association elected to address the challenges to the common plumbing system.
THE SOLUTION:
Pipeline System Technologies was contacted by Community Association to perform a site survey and provide recommendations for restoration.
